I just couldn’t wait till I was all finished to get my kaleidoscopes out of the boxes. They come from a more prosperous time. I had such fun unwrapping each one, looking through it and deciding which were my favorites. I also put out my dragonfly teapot and cups. They are so delicate, I don’t know I’ll ever use them, but they are beautiful.
The work was worth it—even though I’m not done. I’ll get to the rest tomorrow.
I also bought some different nightstands. I decided to just go for it. The color of the wall behind the nightstand is just about right. It is a bit darker than the color of the other walls in the room. I don’t have any drawer pulls on yet. The ones that came with the nightstands were BORING, so I’m going to find some others that I like better.

What cool collections! How fun!
That all looks great, Mary. I love kaleidoscopes, too, tho' i don't have many. I like the teapot set. So delicate and beautiful.
Wow, I'm impressed. Everything looks great. You have quite a collection of kaleidoscopes. The teapot set is beautiful. Was it a gift? I like the nightstands also. Joe is really going to be surprised when he comes home.
