Well, I guess it's that time again. Here is a picture of the aspens in the yard. They are already going gold. I was looking at the mountains today as I came up the pass, and sure enough, you can see the light green/yellow aspens against the pines. Huh, that was a short summer.

Boy, you're not kidding that was a short summer - our trees are turning as well. They said on the news it was the second coldest summer on record!
Autumn is a beautiful time of year, even if snow and cold follow directly after.
I envy all you people with cooler weather...I think I remember some cooler weather last year. We're still having 90+ degree weather here in the high desert!
