Here is what I have so far for the Dresden Plate. I'm thinking something like the drawing for the background, something dark, but I don't know what yet. I was going to fill in the indents with the button background, but I kind of like the in and out of the current set up. I think I'm going to do something for the border. I'll play with that.

Wow! Love it!
I have never attempted a Dresdan plate because of the difficulty of making the backgroung. But you must be appliqueing yours on. I can do that! LOL
glen: one more quilt to do!
That is so colorful!! I love it. The purple background will be cool
This is coming along beautifully! It looks so happy!
I really love this design - you can have all sorts of fun with it. I'm wondering how it would look with a solid around the plates and have those set into the pretty print you've picked out. So many choices! Can't wait to see what you decide!
Beautiful & colorful - love it!
Very pretty in the rainbow colors.
I just love this project...the background fabric is perfect for the plates!
Looking good, Mary! I like the darker background, they really seem to pop.
What is on your wall is so much pretier than the drawing. The colors really stand out. Beautiful.
