Nothing on the wall, but I am doing something. I finished 8 bags from pillowcases (except for the handles) yesterday. I still have about 11 more pillowcases waiting to be converted. I purchased all of them sometime last year (at least 6 months ago, probably longer) at ARC and they were $.99 each. I just went yesterday and the cost is now 2 for $5. I'm just not willing to pay that, so I may have to look for another source.
I also got to JoAnn yesterday and picked up Christmas fabric at 70% off. I am determined that I will not use paper to wrap gifts, but fabric bags instead. According to the receipt I saved $115...that makes me laugh. Instead of pointing out the cost, they show how much I saved. How funny.

Love your Christmas fabric, wish I lived near a JoAnn fabric store, but the nearest is probably 3000 miles away!!
I was going to do the same thing yesterday but we got snow. Oh well, if they don't have any by the time I get there I just didn't need it.
The first time I saw making a tote out of a pillowcase; that's unique. You got a great variety of bags, especially starting with $.99 for each pillowcase. Are these for charity?
I love using cheap Christmas fabric to make wrapping bags. What are you going to do with the pillowcase bags?
They are trying to make you feel good about shopping by comparing their prices with some make believe store. But if you used coupons then you really did save that much.
I love to wrap Christmas and other gifts in fabric. This year I wrapped Christmas gifts in Christmas pillowcases - they were a big hit!
Happy sewing in 2011!
Every once and a while I use or even better, reuse a cloth bag for wrapping gifts. Someone used fat quarters to wrap a gift at the guild Christmas party this year. How smart is that for a fabric enthusiast? Now to remember it through out the year!
Way to save money! You go girl!
Great way to be thrify! Cute bags by the way!
Good for you on the bags - I really love that idea. What is ARC? I look at the thrift stores for vintage pillowcases in great condition...
70% off, wow. Wow. I haven't been to a sale like that in ages!
You can pick up pillowcases from thrift stores! They have a lot of old fashion cool ones at ours! Love you! The quilt you made for mike was beautiful!
