What's on My Design Wall 10-12

These are the 9-patch blocks I got from a swap a while ago. Didn't know what I was going to do, so thought I'd keep it simple. I was just going to throw them on the wall and sew them together, but it looked too messy. So I kind of grouped the like colors together, and this is what I got. It works for me. I can't decide if I should add borders about the same width, or leave it without borders and quilt it from here...what do you think?

personally, i like the visual interest borders add, but it could stand alone just fine. it will look great, regardless. :)

I love the colors grouped together. It is still scrappy, but with purpose... I would add a same width border and then bind it...

Very pretty

To me, borders are not necessary but I like the framing aspect of them. and a lot depends on how big a quilt you want/need. I like the simplicity of what you have on the wall.

I have a ton of 9-patches from an online swap too . . . I have 3 or 4 photos of quilts that others have done with theirs that I may do with mine!

I love 9 patches! :-) I don't have any border advice, that's a tough call, but I think I like the simplicity of just the 9 patches and sashing the best... ;-) Happy Stitchin'!

I am sure it will look lovely no matter what you decide. I would probably sash them then when I have the center decide if it needs borders.

I really like how you arranged the blocks by color - I'd add a border to frame it, the same width, but that's me. What a wonderful project!

I really like your rainbow effect of grouping the colors together. It will look lovely regardless of what options you choose. Very nice!

Very nice layout. I like the white sashing between the blocks and then all around the outside, with a white or maybe a striped binding.

I personally like borders, but I think you always come up with nice looking quilts, so whatever you decide will look great!

Love the nine patches. And I really like your Freeze Frame. It is you!

I'd add a border. In my opinion it will look more finished. I like your colour arrangement.
