Photos above the headboard
Here are the photos I chose to go above the bed. I decided on aspects of Hawaii: a rock on the sand, plumaria blossoms and a shell. OK, it's an abalone shell, but it's still a shell, right? I like the way they look. I was going to paint the frames white, but I just wanted to see them up. When I look at them this way, I think they really do stand out from the wall. If I painted them white, the mat wouldn't be distinct from the frame. What do you think...leave them brown or paint them white?

I agree, white would blend into the mat. How about green or blue? Those pictures are lovely!
Hmmm, what if you painted them dark blue? I love the plumeria~ it's such a great shot you can almost smell it! :-) Have you been to Hawaii?
I started to respond that the wood is out of place with the white end tables and white crown molding. Then I got to thinking...
I had to go waaay back in your blog. You have wood floors. So the frames probably work.
Can you cover them very lightly with white tape or a strip of white fabric just for a look-see?
I thought of the same thing. How about blue?
Get some strips of paper. Paint some green, some blue and leave some white. Blue tac them over the frames to see which you like. Then if you decide on a colour or white, paint the frames.
(My solution to all similar problems! :))
